Saturn’s newest small car, a version of the next-generation Opel Astra, is expected to be on sale in the States sometime after the middle of 2007. General Motors plans to import the next-generation Opel Vectra wagon to the U.S. as a Saturn in 2008 or 2009, according to Automotive News reports citing senior GM sources. It will be the second Opel to be imported to the U.S. as a Saturn, joining the Opel Astra, which replaces the Saturn Ion.
