Back in 2004, Ford had a vision of a “Performance Trilogy” — consisting of the Ford GT, Mustang and the Shelby Cobra concept. Fast forward to the end of 2006, the GT is gone, and there’s no news about the spiritual successor to the Shelby Cobra.

UPDATED: While the production quality of the commercial has professional ad agency feel, according to Ford spokeswoman Whitney Drake, this commerical was not produced by Ford’s ad agency.
