Video: Ford F-150’s Dirty Jobs Commercial “Leaf Springs”

Ford has posted its new “Dirty Jobs” commercials for its 2007 F-150 pickup. The commercials feature Mke Rowe, the star of Discovery Channel’s “Dirty Jobs.”
This one is called “Leaf Springs” and Ford attributes the load capacity of the F-150 to its “big honkin’” leaf springs.
And yes, “honkin’” is a technical term.

Ford’s accelerated “Way Forward” to cost $11.18 billion

The Ford Motor Company said on Wednesday that its accelerated Way Forward turnaround plan, announced in September, would cost an estimated $11.18 billion. This is a $1.2 billion increase from it previous estimate in January. Most of that amount will be spent on programs to lay off employees.

Navistar ordered to resume Power Stroke production
