BMW Group reported its overall November U.S. sales were off 3.6 percent from the same period last year. For year-to-date, BMW is up 0.7 percent from the same period of 2005.
BMW brand sales were down 4.5 percent in November, largely on declines in X5 sales, as the all-new 2007 X5 just went on sale.

In November, Mercedes-Benz USA achieved its third-highest sales month in its 42 years of U.S. sales. The automaker sold 22,079 units sold for the month, which was a 20.8 percent increase over the same period last year.

Nissan reported sales declined by 1.6 percent in November 2006 compared to the same month in 2005. While the Nissan brand recorded sales off 1.8 percent from last year, Infiniti posted a sales increase of 0.2 percent compared to the prior year.

Toyota reported it best-ever November sales of 196,695 vehicles, an increase of 15.9 percent from November 2005. Year-to-date Toyota’s sales are up 12.5 percent from the same period in 2005.
