Holden looking to export Commodore to Europe

Following the announcement that Holden will send a rebadged version of its Commodore sedan to the U.S. as the 2008 Pontiac G8, Holden has said that it is looking for exports to more overseas markets.
“We are looking at Europe,” said Denny Mooney, GM Holden chairman and managing director. “There are 25 million vehicles sold each year in Europe. We would only need to sell 5,000 or 10,000 units. That would be big for us.”
Mooney hopes to export 50 percent of Holden’s output in the future.
