Now that the Mercedes C-Class sedan has been unveiled, Mercedes has begun focusing on the C-Class Sportcoupe. The new C-Class Sportcoupe was caught on camera for the first time during cold weather testing in northern Sweden
While the new Sportcoupe features design cues from the all-new 2008 C-Class sedan, the coupe will remain on the platform of the existing model, which in turn is based on the outgoing C-Class. Word is that DaimlerChrysler was going to drop the Sportcoupe, but a late change of heart saved the Sportcoupe.
Expect the C-Class Sportcoupe to feature 4- and 6-cylinder engines in both gas and diesel versions.
