Earlier this week, Bob Lutz was on hand when General Motors unveiled the highly anticipated, all-new, rear-wheel drive 2008 Pontiac G8 at the Chicago Auto Show. A badge-engineered Holden VE Commodore SS-V, the Pontiac G8 is the first North American vehicle to ride on GM’s new global rear-wheel drive architecture, which will also spawn the 2009 Camaro, Pontiac GTO, next-generation Impala, along others.
