China’s Nanjing ready to relaunch MG

China’s Nanjing Automobile Group continues it plans to relaunch the MG brand will the assembly of its first two preproduction MG TF roadsters at the MG Rover Longbridge plant in Birmingham, England. Nanjing will build about 80 preproduction TFs to validate manufacturing and for emissions and safety testing before beginning production of cars based on the old MG TF roadster as soon as this March.

Nanjing Automobile Group said plans for launching the TF roadster and hardtop in the United States are still on track for next year.
