General Motors officially announced that it will introduce the all-new 2008 Saturn Astra and 2008 Pontiac G8 at the Chicago Auto Show.

The Saturn Astra (Opel model shown), which replaces the Saturn Ion, is the fifth all-new vehicle in Saturn’s lineup, and will be the last step in a complete reinvention of the brand’s showroom in less than 20 months.

The all-new Pontiac G8 sedan is the first vehicle in the brand’s rear-wheel drive performance lineup.
