Spy Shots: More photos of Audi’s A5

Here are a few more spy shots of the all-new Audi A5 during cold weather north of the Arctic Circle. As we have reported before, the Audi A5 is inspired by the Nuvolari Concept that debuted at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show.
Judging by the photos, the new A5 is nearly the size of the current A6, which means it is larger than the other German sporty coupes like the BMW 3-Series Coupe, Mercedes CLK and the VW Eos. Since the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes E-Class are not available in coupe versions, Audi has the segement all on its own — for now.
The A5 coupe eventually will be followed by an convertible version with a traditional canvas top. The A5 is expected to be offered with V6 and V8 powerplants. Europe will also get a TDI diesel V6.
The Audi A5 will debut at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show in March and will be available in dealership by the end of 2007.
