Spy Shots: Volkswagen Jetta Wagon
January 18, 2007 9:53AM by Michael Savio
Spy photographers caught prototypes of Volkswagen’s Golf Estate (Variant) during cold weather testing near the Arctic Circle. While the car will carry the Golf name in Europe, it is expected to make it to the States wearing the Jetta badge, as the Jetta wagon.
The Golf wagon is expected to get its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this year. VW executive said a Jettat wagon could take up to three years after the sedan’s debut, which means we could see the wagon in the U.S. by early next year.
