Spy Shots: Production Jaguar XF

With all the Jaguar C-XF Concept photos and information running around, we missed these first spy shots of prototypes of Jaguar’s forthcoming XF sedan.
Although the front and rear are still heavily cloaked, you can see that styling cues from the concept, including grille, headlamps, and under bumper intakes, are more production ready. The uncovered body sides show off conventional door handles and smoother body panels. As expected the production XF will have a more traditional roofline rather than the coupe styling of the concept.
The interior will be more conventional than the futuristic interior on the concept. Expect a similar range of engines as the current model, with the replacement for the S-Type R — XFR? — to feature the higher output 420-hp supercharged V8 from the XKR.
