Nissan reported sales declined by 1.6 percent in November 2006 compared to the same month in 2005. While the Nissan brand recorded sales off 1.8 percent from last year, Infiniti posted a sales increase of 0.2 percent compared to the prior year.
Nissan’s passenger car sales were up 13.2 percent year-over-year, led by the all-new Versa and Altima. But increases in cars weren’t enough to make up for a 14.8 drop in light truck sales, with all vehicles posting lower November sales than last year.
