Yesterday, Volkswagen unveiled its Concept Tiguan at the Los Angeles Auto Show. We now have a promo video showing the concept for VW’s forthcoming compact SUV.

The production version the Tiguan is expected to closely resemble the concept, less a few items, like the custom 19-inch tires. The concept is powered by VW’s new BLUETEC “Clean TDI” diesel engine, which was developed with Audi and Mercedes-Benz, and is being presented for the first time at the LA show. The BLUETEC “Clean TDI” is design to meet the strictest emissions standards in the world.

Expect more information on the production Tiguan in the first quarter of 2007, with production beginning by the end of the year.

Several videos after the jump.
