Spy Shots: Ferrari F430 Challenge Stradale
November 23, 2006 5:00PM by Michael Savio
Another prototype of Ferrari’s F430 Challenge Stradale has been spotted during testing at Germany’s Nurburgring. This F430 Challenge Stradale appears to be a little closer to production ready than the last F430 CS prototype. The F430 CS is expected to be powered by a uprated version of the 4.3L V8, with about 520-hp on tap. The additional 30 horsepower will have to move a car that is likely to be about 220 lbs. lighter than a stock F430. Expect to see plenty of carbon fiber, including the door panels and rear fascia, and magnesium alloy wheels.
The Ferrari F430 Challenge Stradale could be ready for sale by early next year.
