Spy Shots: More 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS
November 15, 2006 11:57AM by Michael Savio
Spy photographers caught prototypes of the recently confirmed 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS during testing at the Nürburgring. Featuring more power from an expected turbocharged 2.0L engine with around 260-hp, the HHR SS will likely offer impressive performance. With numerous Nürburgring-tuned suspension modifications, likely to include a revised electric power steering system, the HHR SS will have handling to match its straight line performance.
Based on the prototype (see HHR spy shots and more here), the styling differences between the standard HHR and the SS are likely to be a deeper front airdam, with intercooler, mesh grille, and upgraded wheels and tires.
The 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS will likely debut early next year with sales beginning in the fall of 2007.
