This photograph, which is reported to be the production 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer, found its way on to the forum of the NASIOC Subie website. The apparently production ready Lancer was spotted in California. While the image is grainy and dark, it looks authentic, and is appears much more realistic than the illustration we posted a few days back. With the wing and large-ish alloys, we expected that this is the Ralliart model.

Last week, Mitsubishi released an official sketch of the 2008 Lancer, before the car’s unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show in January. The Lancer is expected to be available in the spring, with the EVO likely to arrive near the end of 2007.
