When Ford unveiled its 2008 F-Series Super Duty pickups at the State Fair of Texas last month, it also unveiled a new entry to its truck lineup, the F-450. The new 2008 F-450 pickup offers a maximum payload of more than 6,000 pounds and towing capacity of more than 24,000 pounds — a 5,000-pound increase over the former class-leading 2007 F-350. Restyled inside and out, the bigger, bolder 2008 Super Duty trucks also feature a new 6.4L Power Stroke diesel delivering 350-hp and whopping 650 lb.-ft. of torque.
Ford’s new 2008 F-Series Super Duty pickups should easily keep the automaker at the top of the sales charts.
