General Motors needs to add several new models to its HUMMER lineup, according to Vice Chairman Bob Lutz, GM’s product czar. “HUMMER needs some more products. It needs two or three more products to give it sufficient market coverage,” Lutz told reporters at the opening of a HUMMER dealership in Paris.

Lutz said making a traditional pickup truck — with ample passenger seating, unlike the short-bed H2 SUT — remains an “option.” GM executives previously said a smaller HUMMER targeting the new Jeep Wrangler is a consideration. Back in June, rumors began that GM would dump the Chevy Trailblazer at the end of the decade and replace it with a new HUMMER model called the H4.
