Rolls-Royce brought its Corniche drop top to the States for hot-weather testing in Arizona. Based on the 100 EX Concept that garnered rave reviews at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, the new Rolls drop top will retain the rear-hinged doors of the concept. And the interesting headlamps and turn signals, with the distinct LED ovals above a single, round lamps.

The Rolls-Royce Corniche rides on a Phantom platform that has been shortened by 3.9 inches and is powered by the 6.75L V12 from the Phantom. The Corniche is likely to debut at the Paris Motor Show in September.
