Spy Shots: Chevrolet HHR SS

Based on these images, Chevrolet looks to be working on a turbo-powered version of its HHR crossover, which is likely to wear an “SS” badge. The telltale intercooler seems to suggest the HHR will get the Solstice GXP’s direct-injected turbo-four cranking out 260-hp and 260 lbs.-ft. of torque. The HHR SS will ride on larger wheels and tires.

With a refresh to the HHR on Chevy’s calendar, the SS may not be seen until the refresh.
