According to Italian magazine Quattroruote, while the Fiat Group has decided to bring the Alfa Romeo brand back to the United States, it will not be before 2010. Earlier this month, Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne said during a conference call Alfa would return to the U.S. market in late 2007.
Quattroruote also claims that Alfa Romeo will import the Brera, Brera Spider, and 159 wagon and sedan to the U.S. to compete with BMW’s 3-series. Unfortunately, the magazine also reports that Alfa will not bring the 8C Competizione as the brand’s halo car.
